October is Think Safe Month

October is designated Think Safe Month in Canyons District.  This month we have Digital Citizenship Week which will focus on safe and responsible use of technology and internet safety. Through lessons and announcements, students will be encouraged to behave safely while online and participate responsibly in our digital world.  Parents are encouraged to continue the conversation about responsible internet use at home.  A guide to online safety is available through this link.

October’s focus on safety also celebrates Red Ribbon Week.  During this week, announcements, activities, and an assembly will focus on the dangers of drug use and how to say no and make safe choices.
