Hi UMS Families!

This week there will be RISE make – up testing. If your student has not yet completed any section of the RISE tests, they will be able to make it up this week. Please make sure your student is attending school to participate and complete their assessments.

This is our last week of our On-Time & On Task Student Prize Raffle! Students will earn PBIS points to be entered into our end of year drawing for fabulous prizes based on the amount of points they earn.

We will pull winners from each grade during the awards assembly next week! Please encourage your students to be on-time and on task each day this week.

Quarter 4 grading period ends this Friday, May 23, 2025. Students can reach out to their teachers for any questions or support to FINISH STRONG!

Happening at Union Middle School

Important End of Year Info from our Library

All library books were due to the library on Friday, May 16. While we do not charge fees for books returned late, we do mark all books “LOST” on the last day of school and charge a “LOST” book fee to Skyward. Please help your students return books to the library by May 16.

This Thursday, May 22 is the designated day for students to return their Chromebook and charger. Their English teachers will be looking over the Chromebooks for the following damages:

  • Broken Screen – $50
  • Missing Keys/Broken Keyboard – $50
  • Cracked Chromebook case – $50 (We are not referring to the soft Chromebook cases. These are for students to keep for future use.)
  • Missing/lost or damaged charger – $30
    • We do NOT accept replacement chargers purchased at a store.
    • Barcodes should still be on the charger when the charger is returned.

Please remember:

Union Middle Pantry

We still have food items in our pantry. We’d love to clean it out before the end of the school year. Please come and grab as much as you’d like so food is not sitting over the summer. It is open to our families throughout the week between 7:30 am and 3 pm. Come to the main office and ask for Dinitri to access the pantry.

Spanish Interpreter available 9 am  – 11 am

The office hours for Claudia Bravo Legrand are from 8:30am – 9am and then again from 10:00am – 12: 15pm.
