Principal Message

Midterm for Quarter 1 is this Friday, and it’s a great chance for students to show what they’ve learned and accomplished so far this term. Please remind your student to have all work completed and turned inby 3:00 pm. This helps teachers update progress and provide accurate feedback.
For more information about grading policies and expectations, please see the Union Middle School Disclosure Document (Click on image for link) or view on the school website.

Quick Tips for Parents

  • Ask your student what assignments they still need to finish.
  • Encourage them to check Canvas and Skyward for missing work or grades.
  • Encourage them to work with teachers for any support.
  • Help them set aside a little time each evening this week to catch up.
  • Celebrate their hard work—it makes a big difference!

We are so proud of the effort our students are putting in and look forward to seeing them finish the first part of the quarter strong!

We are also looking forward to Parent Teacher Conferences Next week on Tuesday, September 23rd from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and Wednesday, September 24th 4:00PM to 7:30PM. Come check in with teachers and celebrate your student’s progress.
