2nd Annual Union United, Cultural night is coming!
Bobcats! Union United, our cultural night, is coming up soon and we would love to have more student displays at our event. We’re so proud to have a diverse student body and want to ensure EVERYONE is represented. Examples of displays include, but are not limited to:
- Trifold boards
- 2/D or 3/D art
- Objects or regalia from your culture with description
- Creative writing sample
**Union will help with supplies for students who would like to sign up.
Also, if there are family owned businesses in our school community who would like to table at our event, we’d love to create a space for them as well.

Library March Madness
As we celebrate reading, this month the library is featuring Book March Madness where we battle popular books to determine which book is the most popular. Students can fill out a bracket and return it to the library by March, 18 for a chance to win $75 in Amazon spending. Goodie bags are also handed out for students winning individual rounds. This is a great opportunity to learn about exciting reads that are in our library and to continue to build the importance of reading.
Food for Spring Break Available
Spring Break is Apr 7th – 11th. If your family could use some additional food to get you through a whole week of no school, you can message Dinitri Jackson on ParentSquare, email dinitri.jackson@canyonsdistrict.org or call 801-826-7504. I will send you a form to sign up.

UMS Pantry is Open
Our pantry is stocked with shelf stable food. If you would like to visit our pantry to collect food items for your household, please contact Dinitri Jackson.

WATCH D.O.G.S. ® (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative. There are 2 primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. ® program. 1) To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. 2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
