Our goal is 95%/95%
In the 2024-25 school year 48% of our students had attendance concerns. This percentage is alarming! This year we’d like to encourage our students (and families) to make a commitment to being at school, on time, all day, every day.
Starting this month we will be begin sending out our attendance totals by grade every week so our community can see how we’re progressing. See pie graphs below.
Each graph will have 4 colors.
- Green = On track.Students missing less than 5% of school days.
- Yellow = At risk. Missing 5–9% of school days, or maintaining a 91–95% attendance rate. In a 180-day school year, this would mean missing about 9 to 16 days.
- Red = Off track. Missing 10–19% of school days. In a 180-day school year, this would mean missing about 18 to 34 days.
- Turquoise = Severe.Missing 20% or more of school days, and in some cases, 50% or more. This equates to missing 36 or more school days in a 180-day year.

We know things come up and illness happens, but outside of those infrequent occurrences we expect our students to be here and ready to learn.

Congratulations to our 6th Grade families:
Our 6th graders are the closest to meeting our attendance goal with 87.1% of students with an attendance record of 95% or better.
7th Grade
Our 7th graders had 86.4 % of students with an attendance record of 95% or better.
8th Grade
Our 8th graders had 82.3 % of students with an attendance record of 95% or better.
