Hi UMS Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Union Middle School! We are thrilled to begin this journey together and are excited about the opportunities and growth that lie ahead. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we’re proud to have you as part of our school community.

New Updates and Reminders:

Updated Student Check-in and Check-out Procedures
Check-In & Check-out Policy

CHECK-IN – Students checking in prior to 7:50 will report directly to their first period class. Students arriving after 8:00 AM will need to check in with the Attendance Office, even if they arrive during a class break. Parents can send a note or call the attendance office for late arrivals and excusal. 

CHECK-OUT – If it becomes necessary for a student to leave school for any reason during the school day, students must check out through the Attendance Office. A parent or guardian MUST come into the Attendance Office with a photo ID to check the student out. Only parents or legal guardians may approve students to be checked out from school. Students may be released to others listed on Skyward only after the parent or guardian has given direct approval. Any person checking out a student must show a photo ID in the Attendance Office.
