1. Approval of the March Meeting Minutes
Members reviewed the March meeting minutes, which had been previously distributed. Motion:
Approve the March meeting minutes as written.
Vote: Motion and approval; passed with no opposition.
Jeremy will notify Elaine Zhang that the March minutes have been approved and can be posted as final on the SCC website.
2. Welcome and Introductions
Amanda Parker attended the meeting to introduce herself as the incoming Union Middle School principal. She shared that she is completing her 20th year in education and has experience in middle school leadership, special education, social studies, and English language instruction. She is currently at Mount Jordan Middle School and previously worked at Albion Middle School and in Jordan District. Amanda shared that she is excited to join Union, appreciates the strong work that has been happening at the school, and looks forward to collaborating with the SCC and school
