School Community Council Agenda

Those in attendance tonight: Brenda McCann, Teresa Reich, Renee Beus, Jeremy Hodgeson, Megan Jay, Rachel Pena, Ashley Rodriques, Debbie Norr-PTA, Veronica Reginato, Mont Millerberg, Matt Barila, Karen Pedersen
Welcome and approval of previous meetings minutes.
Jeremy welcome everyone in attendance.
TSSA/LandTrust: Talked about how this year we are going to have to use TSSA and Land trust to pay for salaries of money being lost from ESSER money. Talked about what we need to pay for next year.

- – Half of a counselor or get a paid intern.
- – Mentor job 100%
- – One teacher FTE which we have been paying for already.
Teacher of the Year: receiving nominations and having it put again on the newsletter.
Moving to Mid-Terms: Discussed why the teachers want mid-terms and how it benefits students to not have a whole quarter to make up the work and retake tests. Decided to hold off for 3rd quarter and implement it beginning of 4th quarter.
Semester Class: Talked about how semesters would allow students to have different teachers and not get bored with classes. Some parents feel that their students like the AB since they have harder classes on one day more than the next day. Told the SCC that it would depend on what we can do with band because Wyatt only works here part time.
Watch Dogs Kick off: Talked about what this program is about and that Ashley would launch it in Feb.
PTSA Items
Debbie asked for the SCC to refer people to sign up to help with PTSA for next year.
