Minutes
1. Discuss Land Trust and TSSP funding
- Last year most of it spent on teachers and tutoring
- Union running on about 35 FTE-get our numbers up of students=more FTE
- Capacity of new building is about 1200-1250 kids
- Maybe putting some funding in another category besides FTE?
- Paying for some staff with TSSP fund
- TSSP has to provide some sort of support for students
- Land Trust-support for teachers and students (supplies, subs, computer labs)
- Chromebooks are provided by districts
2. New Building information
- Should be ready before school starts
- Testing for asbestos currently
- Hopefully tour for SCC in march
- We let kids vote for the names of teams
3. Building Move
- Will have access to bobcat den may 1st to start storing things
- Main office will be out of the building as soon as school ends
- Wants to make sure everything is done before we move in
4. STEM classes/ after school program
- Getting in contact with Hillcrest robotics
- Reaching out to community to fund an after-school robotics program
- Finding a teacher that would want to do debate and/or coding
5. Parent communication
- Communication comes from district communication
We are also bound by FERPA can’t go into too much detail
