Lagoon Ticket and Attraction Information

This year, Lagoon is encouraging students to purchase their Single Day Passport ahead of time online in order to avoid long lines at the ticket windows. The link for student purchases can be found on Lagoon’s website: https://www.lagoonpark.com/buy-tickets/. (Link also provided above.)   If the School Day Student option doesn’t come up when you visit the site, select the link “Enter a Promo Code” to get the student discount of $47.00.  The promo code is: SCHOOLS22

Students may also pay when they arrive at the ticket office for the Single Day Passport $47.00, which allows them full access to most rides/attractions.  X-Venture Zone attractions (Skycoaster, Double Thunder Raceway, and Catapult) are not included with the Single Day Passport or Strip Ticket.  Also, Lagoon-A-Beach will not be open or operating on Lagoon Day, May 24th.  Students will be required to adhere to the Lagoon Guest Expectations, including safety protocols as outlined in the attachment, throughout the day.

Lunch

Lunch and spending money are the responsibility of the students.  However, should you wish to have a sack lunch provided by the school, please email our cafeteria manager jordan.patterson@canyonsdistrict.org no later than May 20th.

Supervision/Behavior

Our students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, responsible, and safe manner.  Once at Lagoon, students will be excused from the bus by their supervising teachers. At this point, students are free to enter the park, ride, roam, and enjoy the day. All regular school rules of appropriate behavior are enforced during this activity and while at Lagoon, this also includes dress code.  Please make special note of this last point.  Students are not allowed to leave the Lagoon premises.  Students are cautioned that Lagoon Day is considered a school day and should behave accordingly.  Lagoon security officers and Farmington Police Department will maintain order in the park.  Approximately 14 UMS teachers including at least one UMS administrator and one guidance counselor will be at Lagoon with the students.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

ON LAGOON DAY, MAY 24th THE PARK WILL CLOSE AT 5PM.  STUDENTS SHOULD LEAVE THE PARK AND COME TO THE BUS LOADING AREA AT 4:45PM, NO LATER.  BUSES WILL LEAVE LAGOON PROMPTLY AT 5:15 PM.  IF STUDENTS ARE NOT ON THE BUS BY 5:15 PM, THEY WILL BE LEFT BEHIND AND WILL NEED TO MAKE ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS FOR TRANSPORTATION FROM LAGOON TO THEIR HOME.  THE BUSES SHOULD ARRIVE BACK AT UMS BY APPROXIMATELY 6:00-6:15PM.  YOU WILL NEED TO ARRANGE FOR TRANSPORTATION FROM THE SCHOOL TO YOUR HOME.
