The Union Middle book club was recently featured in the Sandy Journal. The book club is a library organization that meets monthly during lunch. Each month students are provided with a copy of the book that Ms. Zhang, the school teacher-librarian, has selected for students to read. Each student is given his/her own personal copy of the book that is funded through Scholastic Book Fair sales. Students are asked to read the book on their own time and come to the lunch meeting ready to share. Thank you Sandy Journal for featuring the book club and its desire to celebrate reading with students.
