Union Middle School is joining Governor Spencer Cox and First Lady Abby Cox for the Utah Statewide Read-A-Thon!
This initiative is part of the Governor’s broader push to boost literacy across Utah and build a strong, lasting culture of reading in our schools, homes, and workplaces.The goal is simple: whether someone reads every day or hasn’t picked up a book in a while, October 2 is a day for all Utahns to pause, disconnect from screens, and rediscover the joy of reading.
How Union Middle School is Participating:
To show our support, Union students are invited to wear their favorite cozy clothes or pajamas and bring a good book to school on Friday. During Advisory, students will have dedicated time to relax, dive into their stories, and participate in this statewide movement alongside schools and businesses across Utah.
