- SCC General Training Sessions
- 10/03/24 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm OR 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
- 10/08/24 10:00 am – 11:30 am OR 6 pm – 7:30 pm
- Safe Routes Plan needs to be reviewed and approved. Approval is due 11/01/2024. You can view at www.unionmiddle.canyonsdistrict.org
- Discussed any issues about the UMS Drop off and pick up procedures. Some likes and dislikes were discussed.
- Discussed the new No Cell Phone in school rule and how well it has been going
- Reviewed UMS Digital Citizenshiop plan and district filter system. Parents may go to tcp.canyonsdistrict.org to request more filters or certain filters to be placed on their students chromebook.
- The last 40 days of a students internet history can be reviewed
- Spotify has been blocked from students to access music
- Digital Citizenship Week is 10/14 – 10-16
- Discussed that UMS received a $10,000 grant from the Ron Mcbride foundation for after school activities such as the Lego building, Robotics, AI Sports-club, Improv(coming soon), Chess Team, Creative Writing, Yearbook, and a Social Dance Class
